Service msftesql was not found on the computer
The cause of this problem is that the msftesql is the Microsoft SQL Server Full Text Indexing Service which has a different name under SQL 2008.
The solution for this error is:
- Run --> Regedit
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINES\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services
- Rename the MSSQLFDLauncher Folder to msftesql
- Reboot the system
- Administrative Tools --> Services --> SQL Full-text Filter Daemon Launcher (MSSQLSERVER) and check the Start status
- Continue the CRM 4.0 installation
